Welcome to Yurt Camp in Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstan. Do you know where it is? Have you ever heard of it? Are you interested?
Kyrgyzstan is a country in Central Asia borded by China, Kasachstan, Tadjikistan, and Uzbekistan. Kyrgyzstan is hot in summer and very cold in the winter. The mountain chains of the Tian Shan Mountains around Kyrgyzstan are up to 7000m high. The capital of Kyrgyzstan is Bishkek and it is the starting point to gettting to know the country. A round trip to Lake Issyk-Kul, Osh (the second largest city in the south,) and to the Pamir Mountains is a possibility.

A unique experience of nature

Experience the impressive nature of Kyrgyzstan while hiking, horseback riding and on our bow and arrow course.

Ower Yurt-Camp

We have 6 yurts with different bed configurations, 1 double bed, 2, 3-4 beds, another has two beds and two more yurts have each three beds. The biggest yurt is meant to be a traditional, authentic Kyrgyz yurt so it doesn‘t have beds but you can make yourself comfortable and cozy on the matraces on the ground with a warm blanket or a sleeping bag (up to 6 people).

Who are the two?

ATA Jürgen is a german, old (71) but also experienced warhorse who has travelled Central Asia on his bycicle since 2014 who finally „got stuck“ in Kyrgyzstan.

His partner Ruslan is a native (41), who is familiar with the area. He is a jack of all trades an apprentice, handyman, driver, chef, horse man, and so much more. The man behind the curtain and irreplaceable.
